Finals update

Hi all, first of all a big thank you to all participants of the L.U.V 09/10!

Because of you, the games were able to proceed and the committee hoped everyone enjoyed yourselves during the weekend 🙂

Next, the committee would like to apologize for releasing the fixtures at such a late notice. We thought we should let you know that we weren’t just sitting around and not working on them. The main reason for the late announcement was because we were still negotiating for the fields with the cricket players. The cricket players were supposed to have their competition the same weekend as well, which meant that we had only 6 fields to play on. However, thankfully, we managed to convince them to play at a later date, giving us 8 fields to play with. Hence, we had to rework our schedule, which resulted in the late release of fixtures. We understand the inconvenience we caused in the late notice, but as we are also greenhorns in organizing leagues, we seek your understanding on this matter.

Last weekend, we saw 16 teams competing for the top spots and the final standings are as follow:

Champion (top team of top bracket): Team Rockets

1st Runner up (2nd team of top bracket): Megatrons

3rd: Ult-Qaeda
