Format
Brief Format/Schedule
This will be a single tier co-ed hat league. Depending on the number of sign-ups, there will be a maximum of [18/21] players per team and a maximum of [18 teams]. Teams will play a strict 4-3 or 3-4 (i.e. 4guys-3girls or 4girls-3guys) throughout the duration of the league.
There will be 10 weekends of Sunday league games, 1 (Saturday & Sunday) Finals Weekend which will include the All-Star Game & League Party/Prize Presentation.
Detailed Schedule:
Introductory clinics will be held on 15 and 22 November 2009 for players who are new to the game and/or players who have never played the game competitively.
Weekly league games will be held each Sunday beginning from 29 November 2009 until 7 March 2010. Players are advised to keep 29 November 2009 free as team captains will only be informed of whether their team will be playing on the first week during the draft night on 20/21 November 2009.
The league will end with a Finals Playoff Tournament which will be a two day event falling on 13 & 14 March 2010. Regardless of the performance during the league, every team will have a chance to compete to be “Finals’ Champion”.
There will be an all-star game between two teams consisting of the best new-players (those who are playing their first league) will play a showcase game on the afternoon of 14 March 2010. The two all-star teams will be captained by the two best captains of the league. [Selection details regarding the two "best captains" will be released at a later stage.]
League Party/Prize presentation will be held on 14 March 2010.
